I love grilled teriyaki chicken for an afternoon alfresco dinner. Add a salad and grilled fresh pineapple and the taste buds are jumping.

Teriyaki Pineapple Marinade
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl or bag. Add meat of choice. Turning meat every once in a while, to get even flavoring. Let marinade for a few hours before cooking.
